1. Information We Collect

LogParsed operates as a log ingestion and parsing engine. Because we deploy dedicated, isolated infrastructure via OpenTofu (Bring Your Own Cloud), the raw security logs you transmit are processed strictly within your dedicated environment. LogParsed (the control plane) does not retain, store, or view your raw logs.

2. LLM Processing

When an unknown log format is encountered, a single sample of that log is securely transmitted to our configured LLM provider (e.g., OpenAI) to dynamically generate an extraction pattern. We explicitly instruct the API providers not to use these samples for model training. Do not send PII in raw log formats if you wish to strictly avoid third-party sub-processing.

3. Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic. We respect user privacy and operate Google Analytics in Consent Mode, meaning no tracking cookies are set unless you explicitly click "Accept All" on our cookie banner.

4. Data Retention

Telemetry data (number of logs parsed, latency) is stored in our database for billing and dashboard purposes. The actual log data is routed immediately to your designated sinks (e.g., S3, OpenSearch) and is never persisted on our control plane.
